About Our Founder Humberto Aguirre:

Humberto is a native of Colombia who spent his early years working on his grandfather's ranch and taking trips with his family into the Amazon jungle. There, as a boy, he developed his love for the Amazon and his compassion for the native people.

As Humberto became a young man he would return to the Amazon to do social work and continue to forge strong bonds with the Amazon natives and through them he developed is own understanding of the jungles and the amazing and complex eco-system and waterways that join Colombia, Brazil and Peru.

Humberto's mission is to make every guest, young or old, find their own unique passion for the Amazon and that they feel as confident and as welcome as he did when he first visited the lush and beautiful landscapes of The Amazon as a young person.
